What do you do with my data?
Your data stays your data and we do not share it with other parties. Protecting your data is our top priority and we take it very seriously. Your data is protected in accordance with the guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Roos complies with the same security standards as the most advanced banking services (256-bit TLS encryption). Your data always remains yours. No one but you can access it. Your information is not shared with third parties unless we use it to arrange your switch, renewal or cancellation with a new provider.
Is Roos free?
Roos is free for you as a user — great news. But, I can see you thinking, how do you make money then? We receive a commission when you switch to a different provider or renew your contract. This is sometimes a one-off fee, sometimes a small ongoing fee. The commission is the same for all providers, for example for energy or new mobile contracts. The commission naturally has no influence on our advice about which product suits you best.
What information do you need from me so you can help me?
To create a complete overview of your recurring monthly expenses, we need the details of your subscriptions and contracts. Think of your provider, your monthly costs, but also your usage or for example your car's registration plate or mobile number. This allows us to give you the best possible personalised advice. How do you determine the best offer for my situation?
Based on your expenses overview, we look at your situation, preferences and experience with your current provider. On that basis, we compare the entire market offering to find the best deal for you. We therefore take price into account, but also your situation, preferences and other consumers' experiences with that provider.
How often does Roos contact me?
With Roos, we aim to combine people with a smart digital assistant. We will get in touch with you after registration when necessary and when a subscription or contract is about to expire so you don't miss your notice period. Moving in together, expecting a new family member or another change in your situation? We are of course happy to help you keep your expenses in order.
Is Roos independent?
Yes, Roos is independent and objective. What matters most to us is that you're well taken care of — and that calls for clear, objective advice only. Roos has no ties to providers, except that we challenge them to come up with the best deal for you.

We'd be sorry to see you go, but you can stop at any time. If you no longer wish to use Roos, you can indicate this in the app at any time. Upon your request, we will delete your account and data.
